Leading specialised payments platform, Paysafe (NYSE: PSFE), announces that it has extended its partnership with Polish retail chain Zabka.Leading specialised payments platform, Paysafe (NYSE:PSFE), announces that it has extended its partnership with Polish retail chain Zabka. With a chain of more than 7,700 convenience stores across Poland, Zabka already offers Paysafe’s prepaid eCash solution paysafecard and will now also provide a payment point for the company’s online cash solution, Paysafecash. Paysafecash is an alternative payment method for customers who want to use cash for easy and secured digital wallet loading, bank account deposits or for paying for products and services online. It makes online transactions possible for customers without a debit or credit card, or who do not want to use them for online transactions for security reasons.
Paysafecash is easy and free for consumers to use:
The customer selects ‘Paysafecash’ as the payment method within a digital banking app, digital wallet or online service provider and receives a Paysafecash barcode for the exact amount.
The barcode can be printed, forwarded by e-mail or SMS, or stored in a mobile wallet application on a smartphone.
Using the search function online or in the Paysafecash app, the customer finds the nearest Zabka convenience store. The barcode is scanned by sales staff and payment is made.
The online service provider processes the transaction directly after payment. No customer bank account or credit card data is required and the payment is secure.
Since its launch in June 2018, Paysafecash has grown to provide the biggest online cash payment network worldwide. It is available in nearly 30 countries and at more than 200,000 payment points. In Poland, Paysafecash has been integrated to facilitate cash deposits for popular challenger banks Monese and bunq. It also enables online cash payments for loans and insurances purchases in partnership with the Polish fintech company Provema and has recently announced the integration of cash loading into ZEN.com’s virtual wallet.
Przemysław Tomaszewski, Sales & Services Development Director, commented on the partnership: “There is ongoing demand for cash payments in Poland and we are delighted to support Paysafe in its efforts to bring the benefits of the eCash payment solution Paysafecash to our customers for their online transaction needs. Our stores are ideally located to increase accessibility to payment points, adding to the convenience of the payment solution for customers in Poland.”
Udo Müller, CEO of Paysafe’s eCash division, added: “As more and more services move online, we are committed to providing access to digital financial services to cash-reliant consumers and security seekers. Our eCash solutions provide an easy and secure option for making cash-based online transactions and our partnership with Zabka allows us to reach even more consumers across Poland who rely on cash or who do not wish to share their financial details online.”
